I'm a Naturopathic Doctor with a concentration in herbs and
nutrition. I specialize in using natural methods to help people meet their
nutritional and overall wellness goals. I can help put you on the road to
achieving and maintaining good health and a sense of well-being.
I became interested in naturopathy years ago when I was suffering
from a severe case of Bronchitis. After months of coughing night and day I
finally went to the doctor for relief. I was given a prescription and told
it would take a month for the bronchitis to get under control. I researched
the prescribed drug and it's potential side effects and decided it wasn't for
me. After talking with an herbalist, I started taking the appropriate herbs.
Much to my surprise and the surprise of my doctor, all of the symptoms,
especially the horrible cough, were gone within 4 days - not 4 weeks! Not
only were there no side effects to the herbs I had taken, but I actually got
the benefits of their naturally occurring vitamins and minerals.

Success Stories
In January 2001, my cholesterol level was 287. My doctor gave me two options,
go on medication or potentially not see my children (7 and 5 years old)
graduate. I asked if changing my diet would help, the answer I received was
no, since I was not overweight. At only 36 years old, I hated the idea of
going on a drug that I would potentially have to take the rest of my life, so
I asked the doctor to give me 3 months to try diet and exercise before
starting the medication. He agreed. That's when I call Dr. Holly. She
helped me modify my diet and recommended supplements (to increase my good
cholesterol). Three months later I went back to the doctor's for my results.
My cholesterol level had dropped almost 100 points and my good cholesterol
level was getting closer to where it needed to be. I have continued my diet
changes (not quite as strict) and my cholesterol level has stayed right
around 200. Thanks Dr. Holly for keeping me off of medication.

Dr. Holly is a caring and responsible individual. She has helped me with many
illnesses over the years. A couple of years ago, I had a serious bout of
bronchitis that the medical doctors could not seem to cure. Dr. Holly was
able to recommend a special blend of herbs. After taking these herbs for a
day or two, I noticed a remarkable improvement and continued this therapy
until I was well again.

I have known and trusted Dr. Holly for over 14 years. Her holistic advice helps
me see opportunities for personal improvement that I might not have considered
otherwise. Dr. Holly always takes as much time as required to explain what
the body needs to function best and how each food and supplement interacts
with and benefits the body.

What is a Naturopath?
Naturopathic doctors (ND) are not medical doctors (MD).
Naturopaths use non-invasive natural remedies. They are often referred to as
"drugless doctors." Naturopaths are trained in subjects such as anatomy,
physiology, herbology, nutrition, homeopathy, and iridology.
Naturopathic doctors work with all branches of medical science, referring
individuals to other practitioners for diagnosis or treatment when
appropriate. Naturopaths perform a lifestyle analysis including dietary and
nutritional evaluation. Naturopathy is based upon a belief in the body's
natural ability to heal itself when furnished with the appropriate internal
and external healing tools.
